Three ways to do it, and how to pick
You do not need a new toilet or a bathroom refit. Every option here fits the toilet you already own, and the water it uses is already there. Installation and backflow requirements vary by property. Follow the product instructions and your local water rules, and ask a qualified plumber if you are not sure your supply is suitable.
The three options
A hand held sprayer. Cheapest and most flexible. You aim it yourself, which is what most people prefer once they are used to it. Stainless steel, gold or black, from €79.

What actually decides it
Can you reach the supply line and the isolator under your cistern? If yes, any of them work. If your cistern is concealed behind a panel and you cannot get to it, a fitted bidet is out and the travel one is the answer.
After that it is preference: aiming it yourself, or turning a dial.
Two things people are surprised by
The water is cold on everything except a powered bidet seat, because the cold cistern feed is the only water at a toilet.
